Moshe’s Eskayo’s wife Ann passed away on February 19, 2011 after a long illness. For those who were unable to attend the funeral on February 22nd, here is a link to the eulogies in their entirety. Murray Spiegel was the first to speak. He then introduced Irit and Michal, Ann and Moshe’s daughters, who each spoke, and then Ann’s cousin Bobbi read a short poem. Cantor Uri Aqua then sang “El Malei Rachamim” to close the service.
There were quite a few representatives of both the International and Israeli dance communities at the funeral. Although I never had the privilege of meeting Ann, everyone spoke with so much admiration and love for her, she must have been quite an extraordinary woman.
